Student protests continued in central Delhi as demonstrators remained on the streets despite police action.
According to reports, police used lathis to disperse protesters after crowds gathered again. Many students who travelled from outside Delhi stayed at railway and metro stations before joining the demonstrations.
The protesters said they wanted to raise concerns about the education system and their future. The report also states that while some political workers and logistical support were present, the movement was largely student-led.
