ਜਿਉਂ ਪਰੀ ਕੋਈ ਰੱਬ ਬੱਦਲ਼ੋਂ ਆਪ ਉਤਾਰੇ ਨੀ ।
ਤੇਰੀ ਝਲਕ ਨੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਰੰਗ ਬਾਂਕੀਏ ਨਾਰੇ ਨੀ ।

ਸਿਖਰ ਦੁਪਿਹਰੇ ਧਰਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਜਿਉਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ।
ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਗਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਉਂ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਤ ਖਲੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ।
ਨਾ-ਮੁਮਕਿਨ ਦਿਸਣੇ ਐਸੇ ਅਜਬ ਨਜ਼ਾਰੇ ਨੀ ।

It was as though the earth grew even brighter at the height of noon.
As though every leaf stood still despite the rushing winds.
Such impossible, wondrous sights seemed to unfold before my eyes.

ਪਗਡੰਡੀਆਂ ਸੁੰਨੀਆਂ-ਸੁੰਨੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਕਦਮ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੀ ਆਹਟ ਨੇ ।
ਤਰਬਾਂ ਏਸ ਵਜੂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੇੜਿਆ ਜਿਉਂ ਝਰਨਾਹਟ ਨੇ ।
ਬੇ-ਖ਼ਬਰ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਵਾਂ ਕਿਸ-ਕਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੇ ਨੀ ।

Upon those lonely, deserted footpaths echoed the whisper of your footsteps.
Like tremor of this ecstasy ; touched every hidden string of my being.
Unaware of myself, I scarcely knew whom or what I should stand in awe of.

ਕਿੰਨੇ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਨੇ ।
ਦਿਨ ਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਵਿਚਲੀਆਂ ਅਣਮੁੱਲੀਆਂ ਘੜੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਚਾਣਦੇ ਨੇ ।
ਫੁੱਲ ਖਿੜਦੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਮੋਹੱਬਤ ਜਦ ਮੱਤ ਮਾਰੇ ਨੀ ।

How fortunate are those who are blessed to experience such a feeling.
Who recognize those priceless moments that dwell between day and night.
Flowers bloom when love gently overpowers reason.

ਐਸੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਵਾਜਿਬ ਸੁਰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁੰਮ ਹੋਣਾ ਜੀ ।
ਵਾਜਿਬ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਾਯਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਏ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਾਏ ਵਕ਼ਤ ਪਰੋਣਾ ਜੀ ।
ਇਉਂ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਸਰਤਾਜ ਦੇ ਕਾਜ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਨੀ ।

A face so enchanting can rightly make one lose all senses .
It is only natural that one becomes a poet & learns to weave moments into verse.
