थाईलैंड के उत्तर-पूर्वी मुकदहान प्रांत में एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसे में 8 बौद्ध भिक्षुओं की मौत हो गई, जबकि 20 से ज्यादा लोग घायल हो गए. यह हादसा उस समय हुआ जब एक पिकअप ट्रक ने तीर्थयात्रा पर निकले भिक्षुओं के समूह को टक्कर मार दी. अधिकारियों के मुताबिक ट्रक एक 11 वर्षीय बच्चे द्वारा चलाया जा रहा था. पुलिस के मुताबिक, लड़का अपने माता-पिता का पिकअप ट्रक बिना इजाजत लेकर निकला था. करीब 10 किलोमीटर चलाने के बाद उसने वाहन से नियंत्रण खो दिया और तीर्थयात्रा पर निकले भिक्षुओं को पीछे से टक्कर मार दी
Eight Buddhist monks were killed and more than 20 others injured in a tragic road accident in Thailand’s northeastern Mukdahan province. The accident occurred when a pickup truck struck a group of monks on a pilgrimage. According to officials, the truck was being driven by an 11-year-old boy. Police say the boy had taken his parents’ pickup truck without permission. After driving about 10 kilometers, he lost control of the vehicle and struck the monks from behind.
