On the morning of 27 August 2026, a flash flood struck Gyirong at the Tibet–Nepal border while an Isha Sacred Walks Kailash group was passing through the immigration office. Of the people in that group, there has been no official information on their whereabouts. 495 of the 21 Sojourn groups have already returned safely. 743 are in Tibet and 148 in Nepal. The missing include pilgrims from the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, Germany, France, and over a dozen more countries.

Sadhguru has appealed to the authorities for permission to travel to Gyirong to help search.

This video is not speculation — it is what is currently known and what is not yet known.

Holding the families and the missing in our thoughts.
