Jimmy Kimmel and Desi Lydic turn the extraordinary press fight, and Trump’s surprise at seeing Collins at the U.N., into late-night comedy.

Donald Trump had barred CNN, MS NOW and Politico from White House access, but that restriction did not control access at the United Nations, where Kaitlan Collins and other CNN journalists were credentialed by the U.N. and continued covering him.

The move represented a major break with longstanding White House press-access practices and triggered a constitutional lawsuit from the three outlets, as well as pushback from other major news organizations.
