Exact Moment When Terrifying Flash Floods Hit Rasuwa, Nepal
A sudden flash flood triggered by a sharp rise in the Bhote Koshi River from the Tibetan side struck Rasuwa district in Nepal. Syapru Besi and Timure regions were severely hit, with villages, bridges, roads and infrastructure project sites washed away. District Administrator Narendra Pariyar reported that heavy casualties or major property loss could not be ruled out.
Nepal Police issued alerts for downstream districts along the Trishuli River basin, urging residents to stay vigilant and move to safer locations. Prime Minister Balendra Shah ordered immediate deployment of the Army, Armed Police, police, helicopters, ambulances and medical teams for rescue and relief operations.
