A delegation representing the protesting youth met a Union Minister in New Delhi and submitted a memorandum outlining their demands.

The meeting followed a protest march from Jantar Mantar to Parliament, during which clashes broke out and police used a lathi charge after the situation escalated.

The delegation appealed for peace and expressed confidence that the government would consider their demands. According to sources, there are currently no plans for a forceful eviction of protesters from Jantar Mantar.

The government is reviewing the demands and is expected to issue an official statement after consultations with stakeholders.
