Miss Universe Thailand director Nawat Itsaragrisil has apologised after a livestream showing him reprimanding contestants and insulting Miss Mexico went viral. “If anyone (is) affected or felt uncomfortable (with what) happened, I’m so sorry,” he said on stage on Wednesday (Nov 5).
The controversy began on Tuesday, when a heated exchange between Mr Nawat and Miss Universe Mexico, Fatima Bosch, prompted several contestants to walk out of an event.
