मुंबई की लाइफलाइन कही जाने वाली लोकल ट्रेन में हुई एक दिल दहला देने वाली घटना ने पूरे शहर को झकझोर कर रख दिया है। 22 वर्षीय मयंक रमेश लोहार, जो अंधेरी में सेल्समैन का काम करता था, रोज़ की तरह घर लौटने के लिए चर्चगेट-नालासोपारा फास्ट लोकल के फर्स्ट क्लास डिब्बे में सवार हुआ था। भारी बारिश के बीच ट्रेन का दरवाज़ा बंद करने को लेकर एक यात्री से उसकी बहस हो गई। देखते ही देखते यह मामूली विवाद हिंसक झड़प में बदल गया और आरोपी ने चाकू से मयंक पर हमला कर दिया। गंभीर रूप से घायल मयंक को बोरीवली स्टेशन पर उतारकर अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया, लेकिन डॉक्टर उसे बचा नहीं सके। वारदात के बाद आरोपी चलती ट्रेन से फरार हो गया। पुलिस हत्या का मामला दर्ज कर सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाल रही है। यह घटना सार्वजनिक परिवहन में यात्रियों की सुरक्षा और बढ़ती असहिष्णुता पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े करती है।

Amid heavy monsoon rains, an argument broke out between Mayank and another passenger over closing the train door. What began as a minor dispute quickly escalated into a violent confrontation, with the accused allegedly attacking Mayank with a knife. Critically injured, he was rushed to a hospital after being taken off the train at Borivali station, but doctors were unable to save him. The suspect reportedly jumped off the moving train and fled before it reached the platform. Police have registered a murder case and are examining CCTV footage to identify and arrest the attacker. The incident has raised serious concerns about passenger safety and growing intolerance in public transport.
