CCTV Footage Shows Police Chasing Philippine Senator Ronald Dela Rosa | N18G

Surveillance footage captured law enforcement agents chasing Philippine Senator Ronald dela Rosa through the Philippine Senate building, shortly after the International Criminal Court confirmed it had issued an arrest warrant against him over alleged crimes against humanity linked to former President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs.

The footage, shown during a Senate hearing, reportedly captured Dela Rosa running through corridors and stumbling on stairs before reaching his office, where he was later placed under Senate protective custody following a brief stand-off with authorities. ICC prosecutors have identified Dela Rosa, Duterte’s former police chief and chief enforcer of the anti-drug campaign, as a co-conspirator in the case. He has repeatedly denied involvement in unlawful killings.
