‘What a stupid question’: Karoline Leavitt reacts to reporter’s question about parade protests

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Wednesday called a reporter’s question about potential protests against the U.S. Army’s birthday parade “stupid.”

Jasmine Wright, who works for nonprofit news outlet NOTUS, had asked Leavitt whether President Donald Trump would allow peaceful protests against the Army’s Saturday parade, which will celebrate the military branch’s 250th birthday.

“Of course the president supports peaceful protests. What a stupid question,” Leavitt answered.
