Priya Patel went viral a while back after a TikTok rant where she bemoaned immigrants in the United States. While it’s very easy to divide the internet when it comes to immigration, it’s almost impossible to unite it, but her comments found a way. People were either outraged that she was so racist towards immigrants, or outraged that an Indian-origin person called Priya Patel was daring to lump herself in with white America’s outrage.

Well, she’s back, and she’s somehow managed to make things worse by apparently trying to do anything to pretend she doesn’t have an Indian origin. Her dad’s from the UK, no, wait, Uganda. Eventually she admitted that she, Priya Patel, does in fact have Indian roots. Why is she so embarrassed?
