Dezi Freeman, who had been on the run for six months following a police shooting incident, has been found and shot dead by police in the Porepunkah area, close to where the original incident occurred. A million-dollar reward had been offered for information leading to his capture. The resolution brings closure to the families of the officers killed in the initial shooting months earlier.
